Legal Terms, Service Policies, And Disclaimers
These terms apply to ArmorTech Nation, ArmorTech Repair, ArmorTech Home Warranty, ArmorTech Commercial, ArmorTech Auto, ArmorTech Maintenance, ArmorTech Solutions, ArmorTech Labs, ArmorTech Shop, and related service channels.
Important Legal Notice
These website terms are intended to explain general service rules, limitations, customer responsibilities, disclaimers, and policies. They do not replace a signed work authorization, invoice, service contract, commercial agreement, warranty plan document, estimate, statement of work, or written agreement specific to a job.
If there is a conflict between this page and a signed written agreement, the signed written agreement controls to the extent allowed by law.
1. Company Identity And Brand Use
ArmorTech Nation is the public brand structure for ArmorTech service divisions, including ArmorTech Repair, ArmorTech Home Warranty, ArmorTech Commercial, ArmorTech Auto, ArmorTech Maintenance, ArmorTech Solutions, ArmorTech Labs, and ArmorTech Shop.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, services are provided by ArmorTech Repair LLC or the appropriate ArmorTech operating division. Customers should confirm the legal contracting entity on their estimate, invoice, service agreement, or work authorization.
2. No Legal, Insurance, Engineering, Or Manufacturer Advice
ArmorTech provides repair, diagnostic, technical, maintenance, commercial, warranty-style service, and parts support. Information on this website is for general service information only.
Nothing on this website should be treated as legal advice, insurance advice, financial advice, engineering certification, manufacturer certification, safety certification, or a guarantee that a device, system, building, vehicle, appliance, or component is safe, compliant, insurable, code-approved, or manufacturer approved.
3. Service Availability
ArmorTech may provide local, regional, commercial, and mail-in service depending on location, technician availability, parts availability, workload, weather, customer responsiveness, device condition, and business requirements.
Website references to service areas do not guarantee immediate dispatch, same-day service, emergency service, or availability for every service category in every location.
4. Diagnostics Are Not Guarantees
Diagnostics are professional evaluations based on observed symptoms, testing, customer-provided information, equipment condition, available documentation, and technician judgment.
A diagnosis may identify the most likely failure path, but it does not guarantee that no other hidden issue exists. Complex devices can have multiple failures, intermittent failures, board-level failures, wiring failures, software failures, liquid damage, prior repair damage, or part defects that are not fully visible during initial testing.
5. Estimates, Quotes, And Approval
Estimates and quotes are based on information available at the time they are provided. Final price may change if additional faults are found, parts pricing changes, shipping changes, customer requests change, or the device condition differs from the information originally provided.
No repair, part order, mail-in evaluation, warranty-style claim, or commercial work is guaranteed until accepted in writing, scheduled, paid when required, and approved by ArmorTech.
6. Deposits, Parts Orders, And Payment
Deposits may be required before ordering parts, reserving time, beginning repair, scheduling commercial work, or accepting mail-in diagnostics. Deposits may be non-refundable when used for ordered parts, special-order items, shipping, administrative time, diagnostic labor, or reserved scheduling.
Full payment is due according to the invoice, estimate, service agreement, or payment terms provided to the customer. Returned payments, chargebacks, unpaid invoices, collection costs, storage fees, and recovery costs may be pursued to the extent allowed by law.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information, service location, device information, model numbers, serial numbers when available, symptoms, prior repair history, warranty status, access instructions, photos, and any safety concerns.
Customers must provide safe access to the service area, secure pets, disclose known hazards, disclose prior damage, disclose water or liquid exposure, and avoid misrepresenting the condition or history of the device, appliance, vehicle, board, property, or system.
8. Data Loss And Customer Backups
Customers are responsible for backing up all data before any computer, phone, tablet, console, storage device, smart device, camera, DVR, NVR, automotive electronics device, or other data-containing equipment is serviced.
ArmorTech is not responsible for lost data, corrupted data, missing files, lost passwords, software licensing issues, account lockouts, deleted content, encrypted drives, failed storage devices, or data loss caused by pre-existing failure, hardware failure, software corruption, customer action, or the inherent risk of service.
9. Passwords, Accounts, And Access
Customers are responsible for providing lawful access to devices, systems, accounts, networks, security systems, vehicles, and software when required for service.
ArmorTech will not bypass security, defeat theft protection, remove account locks, unlock stolen devices, access accounts without authorization, or perform work that appears unlawful, fraudulent, or improper.
10. Prior Repairs, Liquid Damage, Infestation, And Hidden Damage
Devices or systems with prior repairs, liquid exposure, corrosion, pest infestation, power surge damage, lightning damage, fire damage, physical damage, missing screws, missing shields, damaged traces, altered wiring, cracked panels, damaged boards, or customer disassembly carry increased repair risk.
In these cases, ArmorTech may decline repair, limit warranty, recommend replacement, require additional labor approval, or proceed only after the customer acknowledges the increased risk.
11. Appliance Service Disclaimer
Appliance diagnostics and repairs may involve electrical, mechanical, water, gas, refrigeration, heating, and control-board systems. Some failures require licensed trades, manufacturer-only support, sealed-system work, gas work, plumbing work, electrical work, or replacement rather than repair.
ArmorTech may decline appliance work if the unit is unsafe, improperly installed, inaccessible, contaminated, structurally damaged, pest-infested, modified, under a manufacturer restriction, or outside the practical scope of service.
12. Television And Display Disclaimer
Televisions and display panels are fragile. Backlight repairs, board replacements, panel disassembly, screen movement, and internal service carry risk due to thin glass, bonded layers, aging panels, prior damage, heat stress, and manufacturer design.
ArmorTech will use reasonable care, but display repairs are not a guarantee that a panel, bonding layer, T-Con path, backlight system, or board-level fault will be recoverable.
13. Board-Level Repair And Micro-Soldering Disclaimer
Board-level diagnostics, micro-soldering, trace repair, connector repair, liquid damage repair, power rail troubleshooting, BGA work, and component-level repair are inherently uncertain.
A board may have internal layer damage, unavailable components, firmware issues, encrypted chips, programmed ICs, hidden shorts, heat damage, failed processors, damaged memory, or multiple failures that make repair impractical.
14. Mail-In Repair Disclaimer
Customers are responsible for safely packaging mail-in items, purchasing adequate shipping insurance, choosing a reliable carrier, and providing accurate contact and return shipping information.
ArmorTech is not responsible for loss, theft, delay, mishandling, shipping damage, insufficient packaging, carrier error, customs issues, or damage that occurs before an item is received or after it is returned to the carrier.
Mail-in diagnostics may be non-refundable once evaluation begins. Return shipping, storage, diagnostic labor, replacement parts, special-order components, and unrepaired returns may require payment.
15. Automotive Electronics Disclaimer
ArmorTech Auto may evaluate automotive electronics for all makes, models, and years, including domestic vehicles, imports, older vehicles, newer vehicles, specialty vehicles, and hard-to-source electronics.
Automotive electronics service may involve modules, instrument clusters, infotainment systems, displays, sensors, camera systems, connectors, wiring-related faults, and circuit boards. Repair is not guaranteed on every vehicle or module.
Some automotive work may require dealer programming, locksmith service, immobilizer pairing, VIN coding, calibration, scan-tool procedures, safety system calibration, or manufacturer-only procedures that are outside ArmorTech's scope.
16. Commercial Services Disclaimer
Commercial services may include diagnostics, repair, maintenance, low-voltage work, cameras, networking, displays, appliances, AV systems, board repair, mail-in service, parts sourcing, warranty routing, and multi-location support.
Commercial work may require a separate statement of work, site requirements, access authorization, insurance requirements, safety rules, after-hours approval, purchase orders, account approval, or written commercial agreement.
17. Maintenance Services Disclaimer
Maintenance services are designed to reduce risk, improve reliability, identify early warning signs, and support ongoing device or system health. Maintenance does not guarantee that a device, appliance, network, camera system, vehicle electronics system, or commercial system will never fail.
Maintenance findings are based on conditions observed at the time of service. Hidden failures, intermittent issues, customer use, environmental conditions, age, parts quality, and outside damage may still cause future failure.
18. Home Warranty And Service Plan Disclaimer
ArmorTech Home Warranty plan descriptions on this website are general descriptions only. No warranty plan, service contract, or coverage is active unless a customer has received, reviewed, accepted, and paid for a final written plan document approved for the applicable location.
Coverage limits, exclusions, waiting periods, claim fees, deductibles, service fees, covered items, non-covered items, cancellation rights, renewal rules, repair limits, replacement limits, and customer obligations must be stated in the final written plan documents.
ArmorTech Home Warranty is not intended to be insurance unless expressly stated in a legally approved document. Some states may regulate home warranty plans, residential service contracts, service warranty associations, or service contract providers. Availability may vary by state and may be delayed until licensing, registration, bonding, financial assurance, or legal review is complete.
19. Parts, Shop, And Product Disclaimer
ArmorTech Shop may offer replacement parts, refurbished devices, accessories, hard-to-source components, donor boards, repair components, and other products. Product availability, pricing, compatibility, condition, and shipping time may change without notice.
Customers are responsible for verifying part numbers, compatibility, model numbers, revision numbers, and installation requirements before ordering unless ArmorTech provides a written compatibility confirmation.
20. Customer-Supplied Parts
ArmorTech may decline customer-supplied parts. If accepted, customer-supplied parts are not guaranteed by ArmorTech for quality, lifespan, compatibility, authenticity, safety, or performance.
Labor charges may still apply even if a customer-supplied part is defective, incorrect, incompatible, damaged, counterfeit, used, missing components, or does not resolve the issue.
21. Warranty On Repair Work
Any repair warranty must be stated on the invoice, receipt, work authorization, or written agreement. Warranty terms may vary by service type, part type, device condition, repair category, customer-supplied parts, liquid damage, prior repair, commercial agreement, or mail-in service.
Unless expressly stated in writing, repair warranty does not cover unrelated failures, new damage, customer misuse, liquid damage, power surge, pest infestation, physical damage, software issues, consumables, accessories, batteries, screens, panels, shipping damage, or failures caused by other components.
22. Abandoned Property
Customers are responsible for picking up devices, approving return shipping, paying outstanding balances, and responding to service communications. Items left unpaid, unclaimed, or without customer response may be treated as abandoned after reasonable notice and the time period allowed by applicable law.
Storage fees, return shipping, diagnostic charges, collection costs, or disposal costs may apply to unclaimed items to the extent allowed by law.
23. Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, ArmorTech is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost business, lost data, loss of use, downtime, replacement costs, rental costs, travel costs, food loss, business interruption, or third-party claims.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, ArmorTech's total liability for a service, repair, diagnostic, product, mail-in evaluation, or transaction is limited to the amount paid to ArmorTech for the specific service or product giving rise to the claim.
24. Third-Party Platforms And Links
ArmorTech may use third-party tools and platforms for booking, diagnostics, payment processing, email, hosting, analytics, forms, shop fulfillment, shipping, customer communication, and business operations.
ArmorTech is not responsible for outages, errors, security incidents, privacy practices, payment issues, policy changes, or service failures caused by third-party platforms.
25. Website Content And Intellectual Property
ArmorTech names, branding, content, graphics, service descriptions, page layouts, copy, processes, and website materials may not be copied, reused, scraped, sold, republished, or misrepresented without written permission.
26. Refusal Of Service
ArmorTech may refuse or discontinue service when a request appears unsafe, unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, outside scope, technically impractical, financially unreasonable, misrepresented, or otherwise inappropriate.
27. Changes To These Terms
ArmorTech may update these legal terms, service policies, and disclaimers at any time. The version posted on this website applies to website use after the posted update. Specific service agreements may have separate effective dates and terms.
